But here at MythTech, we feel that there's more to the future than just helping mankind -- we're here to give mankind's boogie-men a bootstrapping into the future as well. Just because the rational world has reached the stars, doesn't mean that its demons can't come with it -- and that's just what we've been working towards at MythTech for over thirty years now. Founded in 2067, when the demand for luna-lumen proof lycanthrope astro-suits was at its highest, MythTech has always concentrated first and foremost in solving the unique needs of our pre- and sub-human clientele. Where other reality-based companies went belly-up in the dreadful stock-market crash of '69, MythTech surged forward with its Mummy-crypt brand patented digital papyrus encryption products. Mummy-crypt was soon superceded with the platinum selling Golem-crypt and Rumpelstiltskin-hash preservation packages. In recent years MythTech's made a name for itself by building the lovely Undead Acres retirement community located on the dark side of the moon -- no more spending half your life in a box, there's never a need to go to sleep since dawns are a thing of the past! Sometimes it's the little things in life that we're there for, such as our Food of the Gods brand power bars(2)... or diction lessons for pod people... or our always exciting guided tours of monster island. Other times it's finding a new nitches for an old companion, like our new Trifid and Seaweed hybrids -- just try turning a hose on these fine potted protagonists, you'll certainly get an eye-full, I can tell you. And it's not just about the monsters. We care about the people, too. Just last year we were asked to take a hand in the designing of Neo-Tokyo, helping ensure that the mega-monster playpen of the future will continue to be there, battle after battle(3). And don't suppose we're just resting on our laurels. Oh no... Any day now you can expect to hear great advances in such areas as lead weighted spirit boots, to help with the crossing of running water (of you can't cross over the water, why not cross under it). And who would say no to a nice hot bowl of Blob in a Cup? Certainly not the military/industrial complex.
